A stately restoration of an historic house. This project saw the conversion of a historic children’s welfare house and orphanage back into a single family home with secondary suite, and the construction of a new single family dwelling in the side yard. With grand design features already in place, it was our job to exercise restraint. Maintaining the exterior while restoring the interior to suit the needs of a family was a challenge, but the end result made a beautiful century old house an excellent place to live.
